If before my first time of experiencing the hyper space I was told that one day these mushrooms would make me wander about alien intelligences, exceptional human experiences and even find myself searching about the similarities between the religious teachings of the world, I would not believe.

Batuhan’s artistic journey began with painting as a deeply personal and exploratory practice. He produced numerous canvas works, hand-painted jackets, and wearable pieces, using physical materials to experiment with texture, symbolism, and identity. These early works were driven by intuition and curiosity, forming a tactile foundation for his wider creative language.
Central to his practice are self-portraits, which Batuhan uses as a tool for psychological exploration. By repeatedly depicting himself in different states and archetypes, he investigates consciousness, emotion, and transformation. This introspective approach continues to inform his work today, bridging inner worlds with visual storytelling.
